While I continue to wait for spring I'm trying to keep up my photography skills. I'm finding the long cold winters here just too much. Although I'm determined to find different ways to stay on top of the game. Here are some shots I've taken since my last post. I hope you like some of the creativity.
I'm also proud to say that the image above was aired on CBC Saskatchewan News in "Show Me Saskatchewan" It's my very first win with my photography and I'm soooo thrilled. This image was taken a couple weeks ago. I couldn't sleep so I was up before dawn...and when dawn finally appeared I jumped towards the camera. I love the light in this tree highlighting dawns light and frost on the branches.

Your photographs are beautiful, unique and creative.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your photo for the Saskatchewan winner. good for you. This has been a particularly long winter. At least the days are warming already. Must be such a change for you from Victoria...Think of you often. hugs.
ReplyDeleteA superb set.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Crista. It is a lovely and unusual photo of the early morning sunlight on the frosty branches.
ReplyDelete@naturedigital ~ Thank you..you always have nice things to say when you pop by! :)
ReplyDelete@Mike ~ Thanks for coming by and thank you for your lovely comment.
@Cinner ~ It's snowing here today if you can believe that! I'm not impressed with winter at all...Victoria at least is green with spring flowers...all there is here is snow. When does spring come anyways?????
@Adrian ~ Thank you so much :))))
@John ~ Oh thank you it's not often I'm up that early in the morning....but I'm glad I was this time. The frost was almost hoar frost...it would have been stellar if it had.
...congrats on the win! It's a cool photo. I also like the lime!
