Since I have been posting so much on birds, I felt a change was due. Here are some wonderful shots of our Large local down town park. It's name is Beacon Hill and it's quite a large area containing lovely gardens, water features, old bridges, birds and just a feast of things to look at while your wandering around. Enjoy what our city offers and the beauty it holds.
Ahhh..water, weeping willows...peace & tranquility. A beautiful location Crista, thanks for sharing. FAB
ReplyDeleteCrista it truly is spectacular isnt it. I love it there, have been a couple times when I was much younger, I have pics from there too, however you are the photographer. Have a great day. tkae care.
ReplyDeleteThat is exactly where weeping willows belong, by the side of a stream or lake - not in small gardens.
ReplyDeleteLooks a lovely spot and the stone bridge blends in well.
What a beautiful spot! Your photos are awesome!
ReplyDeleteReminds me of Monet paintings very evocative.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful place! That tree overhanging the water is gorgeous and I love the bridge.
ReplyDeleteFrank ~ Tranquility absolutely!!! A beautiful park to sit and think and not be bothered with allot of people or noises. I love it there.
ReplyDeleteCinner ~ Yes Beacon Hill park makes a lasting impression on all who visit it's beautiful landscaping and water features. Thank you for you beautiful compliment.. :)
John ~ I agree with you a Weeping Willow doesn't do well in your yard simply because it's roots seek out moisture as you know...going into drainage tiles and your septic field...if you have a septic field. I remember as a child that my Grandpa had one and it's roots caused havoc with his septic tank..then the tree got cut down. Sad really I loved that tree.
Shelley ~ Thank you my dear I live in God's country.
Adrian ~ Thank you my dear I wouldn't have looked at these photo's that way. Interesting how everyone looks at things.
Mary ~ Thank you my dear...you should come up to Canada one day..you would be in Photographic glory!!
Magnificent colors Crista... I love them all but the ones with waters are gorgeous!
