My Fascination With Bees

Bees I have to admit I have a fascination with. Being able to capture the Macro world has really sparked an interest with the small. I know that bugs isn't for everyone, but I just can't help trying to perfect the images of bees. Once fall comes they will all be asleep until spring so my theory is try to get the best you can before they are all gone!! :) The image at the top is my favorite simply because this wee bee is covered in Pollen Powder!! He needs a bath don't you think?

  1. Crista , I am not a bee lover, I have too many in my yard....I posted about you on my blog this am, you might want to check it out. Have a great day. Take care.

  2. Pollinators of the world. A worthwhile post Crista.

  3. Wow.......that second photo is stunning and artistic......and lovely....beautiful!!

  4. Lovely photos Crista! These little creatures are beautiful and fascinating. Early one morning I found a swarm, seemingly dead, caught by the cold, lying on my lawn next to a fence post. I scooped all of them up and put them into a box, which I put in the sun. Towards evening I went to check on them and they had obviously recovered, because they were all gone. I absolutely love bees.

  5. Cinner ~ Thank you so much for your wonderful post and commpliments.

Frank ~ Definately a bug of importance that's for sure

Oh and I wanted to say that of late I have been having terrible difficulty getting onto your blog...some days you blog I can connect to right away and other days I can't get there at all...any problems from anyone else?
